The buying question

Executive monitoring needs careful subject identification and a defined use. A public mention, a profile change and an inferred relationship are different observations. Compare how the proposed platform collects them, keeps their context and routes relevant findings to a qualified reviewer.

Use our narrative intelligence platforms for information risk to examine the wider product routes, then carry the task-specific requirements below into a common pilot.

Platforms to evaluate

PlatformEvaluation angleTask-specific demo question
01Minos ↗Evaluate monitoring with people context and a research path when a question needs investigation.Separate observed public material from identity and relationship conclusions.
02Alethea ↗Examine narrative warning in the context of executive and organizational exposure.Demonstrate the alert, supporting records and incident-support boundary.
03Blackbird.AI ↗Inspect actor and narrative context around executive targeting.Show the evidence behind the narrative and associated network assessment.
04Alto Intelligence ↗Evaluate a tailored source and analyst environment for the operating requirement.Confirm actual sources, service involvement, retention and escalation outputs.
05Cyabra ↗Examine authenticity and amplification indicators around a relevant conversation.Test ambiguous classifications and the evidence supporting observed connections.

Inspect the official source records for these product descriptions and confirm the proposed configuration. Compare the delivered evidence and operating work against the same task.

Confirm the subject and purpose

Document the executive’s confirmed public identifiers and the organizational reason for monitoring. Include common name collisions and examples that should be excluded. Define the sources and material needed for the task rather than collecting an undefined set of personal information.

Have the responsible internal team set the access, handling and escalation requirements through its normal process. The evaluation should show how the proposed configuration supports that scope, including the roles that can see or export results.

Specify each observation separately

List required mentions, selected posts, comments and public profile fields. Ask the provider to demonstrate each one with timestamps, source references and any retained versions. A keyword-monitoring capability does not establish a complete profile-change history.

Keep identity and attribution judgments separate from the collected record. A matching display name or a shared image may need additional review. Record the basis for confirming an account and keep unresolved matches visible to the analyst.

THE SUBJECT CHECK

Can the reviewer explain why the record relates to the intended person, and what evidence supports that conclusion?

Make escalation proportional to the finding

The process should distinguish a routine mention, a recurring claim, impersonation indicators and a development that requires specialist review. Agree who makes that determination and what evidence accompanies the handoff. Avoid turning an automated flag into an unsupported statement about intent.

Use a known relevant record, a name collision and an ambiguous example during the pilot. Inspect the reviewer’s ability to correct the subject match, revise a classification and preserve the explanation for a later reader.

Scope the operational service

Define US operating hours, any after-hours arrangements, expected briefing times and the recipient of urgent findings. Ask how vendor analysts and internal teams transfer responsibility. Confirm what happens when an issue requires deeper investigation or a broader source set.

Request a current proposal for the exact monitoring and service configuration. Include evidence exports, retention, required access controls and the cost of additional work. Keep the demonstrated workflow as an onboarding requirement.

Questions for the brief

Can a platform confirm who operates a suspicious account?

Identity and operator attribution require supporting evidence and a defined review method. Ask what is directly observed, what is inferred and what additional information would be needed for a stronger conclusion.

What if we need to follow changes in a public executive profile rather than mentions of the person?

Specify the exact fields, collection cadence, retained versions and timestamps. Ask for a dedicated demonstration and document gaps such as unavailable content or changes between collection intervals.

Who should receive an executive monitoring alert?

Assign the recipient according to the organization’s purpose and the type of finding. A communications question, an identity concern and a security issue may need different reviewers. Put the routing and after-hours ownership in the brief.
